Besides it all the `Kinetic` collection presented the movement and poetry of the kinetic light installation mimicking the signature metallics- structured, yet fluid and forms. She also looked ethereal in the ancestral-unconventional jacket and skirt ensemble with mirror work and dark tribal hues and silhouettes for the `Gor` collection which is contemporaneous to The Gypsies of India.
The gorgeous actress Athiya Shetty also walked the ramp as the showstopper for the second show of day 5. She walked the ramp and played muse for Aisha Rao, who's Pastiche collection embodied the importance of sustainable fashion, introducing sock waste as fabric. Pastiche is allegiance to all the flora and fauna lost in the Australian bushfires and the silhouettes of the beautiful garments were created using handcrafted techniques, perfect for millennial brides of India.
The closing show was the best part of Lakme Fashion week Fall/winter collection showcase 2020, the audience will surely hope to see more designers get back in action for LFW Spring/Summer 2021. Until then, here's a round of applause for all the brilliant designers besides Saaksha & Kinni and Rimzim Dadu and Manish Malhotra.
