On August 14, Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda announced that they are teaming up for the first time in social comedy, '14 Phere' which will be helmed by Devanshu Singh and produced by Zee Studios. Now it has been stated that the film is all set to go on the floors in November month. The storyline is a quirky, contemporary, emotional, and relevant film that will highlight how weddings happen between two families, not just two people.

According to the sources, "Vikrant Massey, Kriti Kharbanda, Gauhar Khan, Vineet Kumar, Vinay Pathak, Govind Pandey, Yamini Das starrer and Zee Studio's social-comedy #14Phere shooting will begin on 10th November in Mumbai and will then b shot in Lucknow, Delhi & Jaipur." The film has been directed by Devanshu Singh and written by Manoj Kalwani.

On the film script, Vikrant Massey said, "The script hit me hard, the ideology of the film, and the main thought behind the story is something that has been with me, individually. When I heard the script, it felt like two halves becoming one, I would have been a fool to let go of this film."

On the other side, Kriti Kharbanda also talked about her character Aditi in the film and said, "I absolutely love the character of Aditi that I will be portraying in this film. I am super excited to get started in bringing Aditi to life. I'm looking forward to sharing screen space with Vikrant who's a terrific actor."

Currently the team is working on pre-production, and prepping to go on the floor in November. While talking about the film genre, Shariq Patel, CEO of Zee Studios said, "14 Phere is an important film that beautifully captures the heart and heartland of India-it's a quirky, contemporary, emotional and relevant film which also highlights how weddings, most often, happen between two families, not just two people. We needed a fresh, new pairing and we couldn't have been happier to have Vikrant and Kriti on board."

The lead pair will be joined by the supporting cast, which includes Gauhar Khan, Vineet Kumar, Vinay Pathak, Govind Pandey, Yamini Das. Helmed by Devanshu Singh, the film will be shot in the location of Lucknow, Delhi and Jaipur and is all set to release in 2021.
