John Abraham is all set to be back on the big screen with his cop venture 'Satyameva Jayate 2' and will be seen alongside Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya Khosla Kumar. The film was officially announced by Abraham on September 27th, 2018. For the female lead role, in August 2019, director-producer Divya Khosla Kumar was finalized for the role, marking her comeback to acting after the film 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo'. In which the actress was seen opposite Aksahy Kumar and Bobby Deol.

This time, 'Satyameva Jayate 2' story will revolve around corruption in police, politicians, industrialists, and the common man, focusing on the fight against injustice and misuse of power. In October 2020, the director and actors have already started filming the shot in the town of Lucknow and after Raebareli.

Trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh shared pictures from the set of 'Satyameva Jayate 2' on Twitter and informed the fans that John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar are shooting in Lucknow. 'Satyameva Jayate 2' is a vigilante action film written and directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani. A sequel of the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate, the film stars John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar. The concept is based on the fight against injustice and misuse of power. The shooting of the film began on 20 October 2020 in Lucknow. The film scheduled to be released on May 12th, 2021, coinciding with Eid.
