Recently, Netflix released Yami Gautam and Vikrant Messy starrer rom-com 'Ginny Weds Sunny' which was based on the mismatched couple that later adores each other after falling in love with each other. Now, based on the same theme but this time with a book adaptation, Netflix is back with a new series, 'Mismatched' featuring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles. Most people are aware of Prajakta Koli, the very famous Youtuber, who will be playing the role of Dimple, a very intelligent and is a tech wizard in the series. On the other side, Rohit who played the key roles in Dear Zindagi, Hichki and The Sky Is Pink will be seen opposite Prajakta in the series.

Netflix released the trailer of Mismatched that will revolve around two people Dimple and Rishi who are not right for each other. Dimple is committed to succeeding in a career in web development, so much so that she signs up for an exclusive summer course that could give her the chance to meet her female-coder idol. On the other hand, Rishi's desire to adhere to his family's traditional values and unwavering romanticism will have you falling in love with him. The series also includes Rannvijay Singh who is a Tech teacher who asks his students to develop an app to get a good internship. Vidya Malavade is also portraying an important role in the series. Directed by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikari and produced by RSVP, the series is going to release on November 20th, 2020 on Netflix. The series is based on the novel 'When Dimple Met Rishi' by Sandhya Menon. Mismatched features Prajakta Koli, Rohit Saraf, Rannvijay, and Vidya Malavade in the pivotal roles. It's the debut of Mostly Sane Prajakta on the digital platform, and she seems highly promising in her performance.
