Actresses Aishwarya Rai and Rambha recently were asked to test the efficacy of cow`s urine. But both turned down the offer saying that they were open to herbal but not urine therapy. The powers of cow urine are being promoted by an organization supported by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Experts from the orgnisation claim that a daily intake or external application of the potion makes your skin glow and even slows down the ageing process.
The product called Gift of God will soon be launched in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkatta. Aishwarya Rai, Mamta Kulkarni, Anupama Varma and Rambha were a few chosen to give their feedback on the therapy. But Ash and Rambha have turned down the endorsement offer. According Ash, "The thought of consuming cow-urine is repulsive. No matter how sacred the cow is, the fact that urine is a toxic excretion cannot be changed. I can`t abuse my skin or health with such extreme experiments."
Rambha shared Ash`s sentiments. "We live in a civilized society, so we can surely come up with better alternatives," she commented.
