This news comes within weeks of Ravi Kissen announcing his desi version (read Bhojpuri) of "Spiderman" titled "Bajrangi". Now, we will soon have our own desi Charlie Chaplin too.

While Ravi Kissen struck on the idea of "Bajrangi" while dubbing for the Bhojpuri version of the Hollywood blockbuster, the idea of having a Bhojpuri Charlie Chaplin struck Parveen Singh Sisodia and Kunal Singh Sisodia while they were playing a character in "Hum Hain Ganwar".

Kunal is a Patnaite Bhojpuri film actor who says that this desi Charlie Chaplin will not be a copy of the Hollywood version, but will have a north Indian rural touch in the costumes and sets.

The shooting for the film is likely to start in October 2007 and it will be shot in Patna, Muzaffarpur and other districts of Bihar. Though the name of the movie has not been decided yet, but like every other Bhojpuri film, it will also not have a large budget.

Guess everyone wants to cash in on the blooming Bhojpuri celluloid industry!
