It just takes a single film to have your name registered amongst the elite list of Bollywood. But to get that one film isn't easy for everyone.

Few years back, the charming Meghna Naidu made a sensational entry into stardom by dancing her feet to an item number Kaliyon Ka Chaman.

That song surely gave her the initial entry in Bollywood and she bagged many films like "Hawas" and "Jackpot". But, instead of being cast as an actor, the tag of being an item girl never left her.

Now Meghna has decided to showcase herself in a completely different package by doing a de-glamourised role in Ashok Nanda's upcoming film "Riwaaz".

"It was very difficult for us. We had to work on Meghna's looks using make-up to make her look de-glamourised. She is so pretty even without make-up!" praises Ashok Nanda.

We know that beautiful looks and swift dance steps are essential formulae to succeed in a music album, but when it comes to films one needs to be a good actor too.

"I am aware that I am known for my sensuality and dancing skills. I felt the need for the industry to take note of my acting talent too and this role was very exciting," says an energized Meghna Naidu.

Only time would tell whether Meghna succeeds in shaping her words into reality or not. Meanwhile, we can just wish her all the best for her future.
