For Priyanka Chopra, Anurag Basu's Barfi is close to her heart as the film has received various awards and nominations in categories ranging mostly from the recognition of the film itself, to its cinematography, direction, screenplay, and music, to the cast's performance. The film was selected as India's official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film nomination for the 85th Academy Awards. Priyanka Chopra played the role of Jhilmil and Basu also described Chopra's role as the toughest in the film. Well, it has been 8 years since it's released but still, Anurag and Priyanka's bond is unmatchable. Now, the actress took to her social media and shoutout for Anurag Basu's digital debut Ludo.

Priyanka Chopra shared a glimpse of Ludo on her Instagram story and praised her Barfi director Anurag Basu and film's actors. Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka Chopra's film 'The White Tiger', a Netflix film opposite Rajkummar Rao, will release in January 2021. The film is based on the book by writer Aravind Adiga and recently, Netflix has also released the film trailer. Apart from this, Priyanka Chopra will be seen as the next star in Robert Rodriguez's superhero film 'We Can Be Heroes'. She will also star alongside Richard Madden in Prime Video's thriller series 'Citadel', and also has been cast for an undisclosed role in 'The Matrix 4' opposite Keanu Reeves. She will also star as the spiritual guru and convicted criminal Ma Anand Sheela in Barry Levinson's 'Sheela'. Recently, her look from Netflix's film 'We Can Be Hero' is out.
