Recently UTV has spread its wings into the international arenas by co-producing "The Namesake" and planning other movies with Will Smith and M. Night Shyamalan. Not just this, after a few successful ventures in films, UTV has also announced its second motion picture "Spotboy".

The latest development from UTV is that it is planning to re-launch its 2006 blockbuster film "Rang De Basanti".

The film will be dubbed in English and will be re-launched as a crossover release in the international market.

The original Hindi version, which was of 2 hours 50 minutes duration, will be cut short by 40 minutes to suit the international market. Also the title of the film will be re-christened to "Colour Of Sacrifice".

The international version for global audiences will have a limited theatrical release in the next few months.
