The film will be a Rajasthan-set fable and will be directed by Partho Sengupta who is known for his short films, Variety reports.
The movie will be based on a soldier who is trying to chase away his nightmares.
The soldier returns to his village in India after eight years at war.
The film project which is put together by Paris-based Dan Walker and Mohammed Ulad's Oskar Films will begin shooting by the end of the year.
The budget of the film is 5 million dollars.
