Preity Zinta and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Kal Ho Na Ho was one of the most successful films of India that received an immense amount of love for its amazing plotline and fantastic performances. And the iconic film completes 17 years of its success today , Priety Zinta, who played the role of Naina in the film, got nostalgic and celebrated the film on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Preity wrote a long note along with the song from the film. She wrote,"Remembering Kal Ho Naa Ho today. A movie that made me laugh and cry in a heartbeat. Talking about her role, Preity had earlier said in an interview,`It was very special to me because I lost my first love. I was in love with him, he was not. I felt strongly when the film was offered to me. Some of the best things have happened to me during that film.`

Shah Rukh Khan fell ill and wanted to quit. He told Karan that he won't be able to do it and even underwent a major surgery during the shooting of Kal Ho Naa Ho. It finally resumed after Shah Rukh returned post recovery.
