Farmers from several states of North India, including Punjab and Haryana, have been moving towards Delhi for the past few days, defied by the military forces, which has used various powerful tactics to slow them down.
The farmers are protesting against new laws passed by the Centre in September. The rebels and their backers, however, claim that these laws will seize the farmers of a guaranteed minimum price for their produce and leave them at the charity of corporates. That's why the whole industry stood up for the farmers.
