"Though biking is my original passion, I think acting and fashion come a close second. The world of design and style has always fascinated me, hence I decided to venture into the world of designing," John told reporters while addressing the media at Wrangler store at the Westgate Mall.
The collection offers denims and non-denims for both men and women in shades of Brazilian greens, azure blues, grays, pale salmons and white.
The men's line has jeans, designed the way an avid biker would want, straight leg modeled on low-rise fits teamed with linen shirts in fabrics like yarn-dyed plaids and voiles.
The women's line slim-fitting shirts, v-necked tees and tail hems, racer backs, halters and hood tees paired with minis, pedal pushers, capris and halter-cut pinafores.
"While the styling of my collection is very international, it retains its own spirit and individuality," added John.
The collection was launched in association with Wrangler last year on Dec 17 that also happens to be John's birthday.
Salli Deighton, Wrangler's international designer, and fashion designer Ramneek Walia are John's partners in design.
