Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednakar have buckled up for their next venture 'Badhai Do' and joined the film crew in Dehradun, Uttrakhand. In the second installment, the actor will portray the role of a Delhi cop, who is the only male police officer in a Mahila thana whereas Bhumi Pednekar will be seen playing the role of a PT teacher. Now, finally, the entire star cast has begun the film shooting in Dehradun and Bhumi Pednekar shares some still from the film sets on social media. The film plotline is set to be based on the lavender marriage.

Bhumi Pednekar shared a string of BTS from the sets of Badhai Do on her Instagram stories. The actress showed some sneak peek of the script reading session while tagging Rajkummar. In the next story, she shared a short video of the food tent and also posted glimpses of the Muhurat shoot. She wrote, "Poori Team Ko #Badhai Do:) To New Beginnings." Harshvardhan Kulkarni's comedy-drama film stars Bhumi Pednekar & Rajkummar Rao. The film is a sequel to Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Badhai Ho' (2018). The film's first part was helmed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, and Sanya Malhotra in the key roles.
