You had seen ‘Indian Idol' the whole of last week and now the time has come for the two daily soaps ‘Ek Ladki Anjaani Si' and ‘Virrudh' to resume with their action after a break.

Whether it was a much-needed break for the shows and the audience or not is up to you to decide, but all that we can do is tell you that the shows will be back with new faces.

Cezzane ‘Anurag' Khan will make a grand entry in a chopper in ‘Ek Ladki Anjaani Si'. He will play an arrogant and egoistic doctor Dhruv Mehra, who will be an important part in the lives of Ananya (Sai Deohar) and Nikhil (Shakti Anand).

This doctor will be a lifesaver for Angad, son of Ananya and Nikhil, as he is suffering from blood cancer and needs a bone marrow transplant. Cezzane will be conducting this delicate surgery.

On the other hand, Anoop Soni, who was once a major part of the show ‘C.I.D' and was last seen in ‘Jeete Hain Jiske Liiye', is slated to make an entry into Smriti Z. Irani produced ‘Virrudh'.

Anoop will be playing a special investigation officer Vikram Agarkar, who will be investigating the attack on Dhirendra Raisinghania (Vikram Gokhale). He is no nonsense kind of a police officer who is ruthless during his investigation with the Raisinghania family.

Well, both these actors have a name in the industry and thus have been roped in to probably and obviously raise the low and lowering TRPs. But going by the trend, it does not seem that it would be any good in grabbing more eyeballs. If it does, it will be a great and much needed boon for Sony.
