Mahima is accident-prone. In fact she has had so many of them that she can be an authority on first aid. She also has a phobia about accidents and insists on driving her own car with the driver sitting besides her. "That way I am in control," she quips. But accidents have a way of happening. As it was proved once again.

During the filming of Sarhaad Paar, one heard Mahima burnt herself when she was too engrossed in her performance and didn`t realise that the food she was making had got burnt along with her fingers. That was not all. Some days later, when she had to give a bear hug to one of her co-stars, her bangles broke cutting her palm and wrist. But take heart Mahima and look at the positive side of it. You can have Leander spoil you silly while you are taking bed rest.
