The Rajnikath mania gets bigger with each passing day. After all the rave reviews and the hullabaloo for his big hit, ‘Sivaji', there is now news that the Southern superstar will
feature first time in an animated version in an action adventure film ‘Sultan the Warrior'.
The film will have the 50 plus hero as a mythological, larger-than-life hero
and will be replete with the stylised Rajnikanth mannerisms and punch lines for which he is known and loved. The film is targeted at adults as well as kids, both in India as
well as other parts of the world.
Directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth, it will feature music by A R Rahman. Apart from Ocher studios, a Chennai-based
post-production and animation studio, other international specialists will also be working on the production. The film which will be made in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English is
expected to release by the end of 2008.
The website of the film has been launched and has already acquired positive responses. Like the Sean Connerys and
Harrison Fords, in India too there are people who simply get bigger despite aging, balding, greying etc. Rajni is sure one of them. Well, Big B truly does have competition on
home turf.
