And the lovely lady was moved to tear.
"After a long time I've seen Dharamji in a movie that I've really liked. It's so nice to see all three of them (Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby) in the same film together. Audiences have waited so long for the whole family in one film. And they won't be disappointed," promises Hema.
"After so long Dharamji is in his element," says Hema who was appalled by some of the films that her husband was seen doing lately. Specially offensive to the dignified Hemaji was the obnoxious Mallika Sherawat outing Kiss Kiss Ki Kismat.
"He should only do what he feels comfortable doing," she had commented with uncharacteristic diplomacy.
"I'm very happy with what Dharamji has done in Apne," Hema asserts.
But Apne is a half-complete family saga. The other-half of Dharmendra's family namely Hema, Esha and Ahana are not a part of this much-touted family film.
Constantly optimistic and never always that regal and decorous face to show her pain Hema shrugs and laughs, "Never mind. Maybe we'll all be together in the next Deol production. Right now I'm not doing any films. The offers that I get aren't tempting enough."
