Koena‘s father, Vishwanath Mitra, is in hospital because of a serious kidney ailment, but she is in a tight spot as she has has to complete her shooting and other commitments before she can be with him.

Koena says her ‘baba' has a kidney problem since the last 20 days,and is undergoing many tests that will clarify what he is really suffering from.

He also has to undergo biopsy. He has been shifted to Lifecare as his Kidney problem is really serious. Koena is very close to her dad, and is really disappointed that she cant be with him now of all the times.

She is currently dubbing for Anamika after which she will attend two shows. She first learned about her fathers illness during an outdoor shoot therefore she couldn't go home, though she was in touch with her mom and sister.

Later she went back and spent a few days with him after which she had to return for the dubbing.

Koena feels that when parents grow old one has to take care of them like kids. She also feels helpless at the moment because her Dad is totally dependent on her mentally and she is very close to her dad.

She plans to go back home to visit her dad next week after completing her commitments.

Koena says her family is really. Her Dad is a CA working in Phillips, mom is an interior designer while my younger sister is studying graphic designing.
