If you thought acting was Vivek Oberoi`s first love then you need to think again as what Vivek feels passionate about is writing and direction. It fact Vivek`s pet passion is to create the background matter for his characters even though it won`t be picturised. Like he wrote a 300 word biographical sketch of Chandu, his role in Company, it is heard that he has written similar characterizations for his other films Road and Dum.
In fact father Suresh Oberoi in one of his interviews confessed that how during his free time, Vivek would write scenes and poems. "And my gut feeling says that he going to become a director and scriptwriter one day," said senior Oberoi. Vivek who has lived up to the tall claims made by the press even before the release of his first film, today stands to be one of the busiest stars in tinselville. He had already signed about seven films before the release of Company. After its success there`s been a long queue outside his doorstep. But Vivek is being choosy. After all it is a matter of survival in the cutthroat film industry.
