Neha, wife of the talented actor Manoj Bajpai,who had made her debut opposite Bobby Deol in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Kareeb (1998) is back on the big screen after a break five years after 2001 last in Rahul and Ehsaas.

This time on she has a meatier role with White Feather Film's directed by Sanjay Gupta, Alibaug,, opposite Sanjay Dutt.

Neha was picked up because she suited the character says Gupta. Her pristine looksand delicacy made her a perfect yes-yes. Neha approved on the spot when she went in for the screen test on Tuesday.

Neha plays Shelley who is an important part in the Film which is about friendships and relationships. She is a part of a love triangle between her, Sanjay Dutt and Dia Mirza."

Neha had taken a break from films because she saw no point in doing projects that wouldn't see the light of day or be appreciated.

Neha is keen to return to her birth name Shabana Raza for all her future films, starting with Alibaug. Neha's coupling with Manoj Bajpai has been a three years blessing for her and it's still going great guns. Manoj has been very excited about her doing Alibaug.
