Amitabh Bachchan has got an offer to act in a film by Oscar nominated English director Ridley Scott. Ridley Scott is making his next movie ‘Body Of Lies', a thriller about an undercover CIA agent who is on a mission to track a high-ranking terrorist.

Leonardo DiCaprio plays the CIA operative, while Russell Crowe plays a manipulative CIA boss. Scott has reportedly sent an email to Amitabh Bachchan for an important role in the film.

The superstar has expressed interest and asked for the film's script, which is currently being worked upon. But the only spoiler is that Ridley Scott wants to shoot the film in September, a month for which Bachchan has already given his dates to other producers. This may leave Big B with little option but to decline Scott's offer.

Even if this happens, Hollywood is still not far for Bachchan. He will act with Johnny Depp in Mira Nair's Shantaram. And there will also be Deepa Mehta's Exclusion which will have actors from both India and Hollywood.
