A new door for nexus between Hollywood and Hindi film industry has opened with a co-production deal between Los Angeles' entertainment company Hollywood Studios International and India's Carving Dreams Entertainment.
The deal, reported to be of 100 million US dollars, will have the two companies joining hands to co-produce as many as five films within a span of 2 to 3 years. These films ill reportedly be made in English and Hindi and will feature actors from Hollywood and Indian film industry.
Such projects will be very instrumental in bringing together talents from two of the biggest film industries of the world.
For one such project, Bollywood's Akshay Kumar and Irrfan Khan are under consideration. Reports have it that Mexican actress Salma Hayek (who has acted in many Hollywood flicks) has been approached for a significant role in this film.
Things are still in very preliminary stages and nothing has been finalized as yet.
