Late last month, to douse wildfire rumors of a split between them, John admitted he and Bipasha have their problems, but insisted both were committed to working them out.
Pointing out that he was currently staying at the same hotel in Pondicherry where they shot their first film together, Jism, he announced Bipasha would be joining him there shortly, so they could reignite the sparks of their relationship.
Bipasha, never did join him and seems like in no mood for a reconciliation with her 'former' boyfriend.
Bipasha actually had an excellent opportunity to visit Pondicherry for professional reasons. She was offered a cameo in Kumar Mangat's latest production, One, Two, Three, which is being shot in the former French colony, south of Chennai. However, the actress declined the offer citing date issues.
"We wanted Bipasha to play a Jat cop in the film. The schedule demanded her to film in Pondicherry for 20 days. We were hopeful that she would accept the offer, as John is around in Pondicherry too. But she gave some excuses and begged out of the film," says a Mumbai tabloid.
While Bipasha seems to be coming clean on the split, reports also say that John is still trying his best to win back his lady love.
