Though the Deols have been in the limelight these days, especially because of the family's 'Apne' hitting theaters in India and winning
laurels for the head Deol (Dharmendra), Abhay Deol has been busy shooting for director Navdeep Singh's 'Manorama Six Feet Under'
in Rajasthan.
The movie's story revolves around a young man hailing from a middle class family. In search of an adventure, the young man turns a
detective and gets busy in the investigation of a woman named Manorama.
Besides Abhay, Gul Panag and Raima Sen play
the pivotal roles. Since the movie is being shot in Rajasthan, both actor Abhay and director Navdeep Singh had to struggle a lot in
locating a water tank but without people living around it.
Water tank has significance in the movie; so the director had no choice. Abhay says that finally they succeeded in spotting a locale
near Jaipur after strenuous journey for a week.
Water being a problem in India and especially in Rajasthan, the tank is
situated in the middle of two villages so that their residents can fetch water without any dispute. The director had a nice time shooting
around this water tank for full five days.
