Actor/director Rajay Kapoor, whose third directorial venture "Mithya" (The Imposter Who Wasn't), is a part of
the Indian Competition category at the 9th Osian's-Cinefan, is happy not to be a part of the film's cast as he
says he just wanted to put in his everything as a director for the film.
"I was not even tempted to be a part of the cast of the film," he said. "I wanted to direct and wanted to do a
good job with it. I guess I have put in my very best."
The film, which casts Naseeruddin Shah, Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak and Neha Dhupia, is a satire on the
Mumbai underworld and narrates the story of an aspiring actor who comes to Mumbai to chase his dreams but
gets drawn into a whirlpool of events.
