Class always tells. We are referring to Karisma Kapoor`s demeanour during a recent spat with Amisha Patel. It happened on the sets of Dharmesh Darshan`s Mere Jeevan Saathi, in which the two actresses have been paired opposite Akshay Kumar.

Amisha wasn`t happy with a particularly lengthy dialogue that she had to deliver in Karisma`s presence. So enraged was Ms Patel that it took the entire unit to pacify her. "I don`t like preferential treatment," she fumed, suggesting that the director was favouring Lolo at her expense. Her grouse: Lolo had been given the option of mugging up the lines on the sheet or make up her own.

Lolo, on her part, kept her cool. Instead of sniping at Amisha, she turned to the director and articulated her stand. "There`s no favouritism of any kind. It`s just that being senior I know more and better," she asserted. Needless to say, Karisma had her way!
