Suniel is reluctant to talk about it. "It's premature right now. The plans are being worked out. I'm happy to join them. They are among the biggest garment manufacturers and exporters in the business. The garment industry was always part of my business plans. But I wanted to wait for the right opportunity."
Many years ago, Suniel lent his name to the exclusive boutiques named Mischief in the country. "I'm no more a part of that garment business. I wanted to go global and the Creative Group will give me that platform. I'll be part owner of the brand."
However endorsing their products isn't on Suniel's anvil. "We're calling the collaboration 'Creative Crossover'. I feel fabric fashion and design in India is comparable with any of its counterparts from any part of the world.
Really, when it comes clothes we're next to none. Our designers can compete with their counterparts from any part of the world. That's why I've decided to be part of this company. Of course administrative decisions will be taken by the board of directors."
In the meanwhile Suniel is all set to start wellness centers in Mumbai. "We're looking at real estate and will get on with the construction as soon as we find the right land."
