Director Shivam Nair, who made the Soha Ali Khan-Abhay Deol starrer "Ahista Ahista", is all set to make Paresh Rawal's Gujarati drama "Maharathi" into a film titled "Chala Murari Murder Karne".

Produced by Shree Ashtavinayak, the film is a murder mystery and revolves around a wife's attempt to bump off her husband by hiring a hit man. After the accomplishing the task, the killer does not bring relief but grief to the wife.

Naseeruddin Shah, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani, Om Puri and Neha Dhupia have been roped in for the film that goes on the floors in September.

Uttam Gada, who scripted the play, will do the screenplay and dialogues for the film.
