On the day of release, "Marigold" editor Anuradha Singh came across as an anxious mother awaiting her "child's" exam results. A visibly tense Anuradha said about the film: "You are asking a mother about her child. " She added that the movie's fate lay in the hands of the audience.

In an era when Bollywood actors are pushing for roles in Hollywood, "Marigold" is the other way round. Besides the presence of Salman Khan, the film boasts Hollywood names Willard Carroll, as its director, and the "Legally Blonde" girl Alison Elizabeth aka Ali Larter.

Anuradha said about Ali: "She is doing well in America. And she has done well in "Marigold". She can surely work more in Bollywood. Salman too may get some projects in Hollywood."

Anuradha has just finished editing US production "Blood Monkey", a suspense thriller which is ready to hit the market in September. -Arindam Guha
