Did Mahima Chaudhary really opt out of Dil Vil Pyar Vyar or was she thrown out of it? In an interview to the press, producer Viveck Vaswani nearly admitted that how Mahima who had agreed to do the film for a mere 25 lakhs but reportedly asked for 51 lakhs just one day priot to the day they were to begin shooting the film.

So Viveck thought it best to replace her with another heroine. Talking about Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Viveck Vaswani has decided against signing any music director for the film. It may be noted that the film has R D Burman's evergreen songs which have been incorporated into the film with modern recording.
