Bollywood actress Yukta Mukhi on Monday came out strongly in support of her colleague Salman Khan who is currently lodged in Jodhpur jail in poaching case by saying law abiding citizens should be respected.
Mukhi, a former Miss World said: "Salman Khan surrendered in the Jodhpur court after it rejected his appeal and this proves he is a law abiding citizen. Hence, sympathy should be shown on him."
When asked about the jail sentences awarded to both Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan, she just said, "Law abiding citizens should be respected."
The actress, who was here to inaugurate a swimming and fitness centre, hoped her forthcoming release 'Mem Sahib' would prove to be box-office success.
