After Pyar Ke Side Effects', Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose are coming together again in Venus's next film Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam, which is being directed by Sanjay Chell.

The producers had previously approached Tabu for the leading lady's role in the film but dropped the idea because they found Tabu a little too mature for the role.

Catty Mallika seemed to suit the role better and was therefore finalized for the part. It will also have Paresh Rawal in an important role.
