Bollywood actor Salman Khan spent another day of uncertainty Thursday after the Rajasthan High Court postponed by a day the hearing on his bail plea and the revision plea of his jail sentence. High Court Judge H.R. Pawar has sought records from the lower court of the five-year sentence passed on the actor for hunting an endangered deer nine years ago. Dipesh Mehta, a Mumbai-based lawyer and a Supreme Court advocate Uday Lalit appeared for the actor.

Salman, who was arrested on Saturday, is lodged in Central Jail here after losing his appeal in the district and session court of Jodhpur against his sentence in the chinkara poaching case handed out on April 10.
