Q: What according to you is fashion?
A: I would say fashion and being fashionable are two different things. Trends are set by various people, like designers in the fashion capitals of the world. But being fashionable is combining your comfort level with the existing trends.
Q: Where do you mostly shop from?
A: I shop from various places, but my favourite has to be Dubai.
Q: Do you prefer any specific brands?
A: I like Zara, Mango and Promod for casual wear, and in the higher end, I like Louis Vuitton and Gucci for bags, for clothes I like Armani and Versace.
Q. While at home, what do you mostly wear?
A: Track pants and T-shirts.
Q: Your gym wear is...
A: I wear Nike most of the time. I do shop abroad for track pants. The brand Juicy has amazing track pants.
Q. Do you go for the formal look at times?
A: Yes, sometimes, when I have to attend an important meeting for a project. These days, half-sleeved jackets are in vogue. So I recently picked up a few when I had gone to the US. They look very smart with dark denims and dark trousers.
Q. What's your casual look?
A: Denims and T-shirts, my favourite brands for denims are Guess, Mango and Seven.
Q: What about night wear?
A: It's similar to my home wear. I don't think much when I am home. It's all about being comfortable rather than looking good.
Q: Do you adorn yourself with accessories?
A: Sometimes, I am not too much into accessories.
Q: Which brand do you favour for footwear?
A: Aldo, I wear; Gucci, I like. Gucci is high end and I don't wear it all the time.
Q: What are the make-up products you use?
A: Chanel and Mac.
Q: Which is the latest perfume that you bought?
A: Light Blue by "Dolce & Gabbana".
Q: Which colours do you think are musts in any wardrobe?
A: Black is a must for everyone; you can never go wrong with black. For Mumbai, white is a must; it saves you from the sultry heat here. White linens look fabulous. -Jayant Mishra
