Rajkumar Hirani and SRK have wanted to work together for quite some time and they have finally got a chance to do so. Sources say Hirani is presently busy with the final draft of the script in which Shah Rukh Khan will play the lead role.

The movie, yet untitled, will be far removed from Hirani's previous two films of ‘Munnabhai' series. It deals with three IIT students who enroll in a top university, the problems they face and how they overcome these problems. So once again like his other films, Hirani will try and deliver a social message of triumph and success despite tribulations and struggle.

The project also stars John Abraham. Hirani says he hopes to start shooting the film in January next year. By then SRK also would have finished the shooting of Shankar's sci-fi movie Robot.
