More and more denizens of the Indian entertainment industry are getting to know the true value of their homeland. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have said no to a number of Hollywood assignments where they've felt they aren't likely to fit in properly.

Now, it's Priyanka Chopra's turn. She has declined to do Ashok Amritraj's international cross-cultural love story.

Though Priyanka declines to comment on the issue, a source close to her said: "It was basically a budget issue. Though it was an American production, the budget of Amritraj's film was half of what we spend for a fairly lavish Bollywood film like 'Krrish' or 'Drona'.

"Priyanka just didn't see the point in stretching herself to do this film just because it was an international project."
