Kangana fell in love with her three-bedroom soon-to-be dream house the minute she saw it.

"But it was way too expensive. But you know how stubborn I am. I decided it's this house or none."

Kangana has been saving up to pay instalments for the house. "Scrounging is more like it."

The actress who now reportedly gets paid in the vicinity of Rs 75 lakhs has been spending next to nothing on other activities.

"I could see nothing beyond the house. And now it's almost paid for. It's got three rooms...one for me, one for my sister and one for my parents whenever they visit. They can't come and stay with me permanently in Bombay because they both work in Himachal."

Incidentally two other leading actresses Priyanka Chopra and Rani Mukherjee too are shifting into her dream house in the next few months.

"It's a race to the finish between us. Let's see who gets to her dream house first," joked Kangana.
