Macho hero Jackie Shroff seems a bit disappointed at being left out of Sanjay Bhansali's entourage to Cannes Film Festival for the premier of "Devdas".When Sanjay Bhansali's magnum opus "Devdas" was shown before the foreign audience at the recently held Cannes film festival it was Shahrukh, Aishwarya and Bhansali who hogged the limelight.

Jackie Shroff was conspicuous by his absence. The reason, says Jackie, is that he was simply "not invited" to the film's opening. Instead of him Sanjay Bhansali's mother and sister accompanied SRK and Ash. In the film Jackie plays the role of Chunnilal, a close friend of Devdas (played by SRK).
