Madhavan changes his looks often to suit his roles, but now the actor is fed up with his frequent weight swings. The beefy Maddy of Tamil action film "Thambi" got into a lean frame for playing a journalist in "Guru".

He then got thinner to portray a middle-class commuter in "Dombivali Fast" (titled "Yenalu Oruvan"), before regaining weight for yet another Tamil masala potboiler "Aarya" in which he plays a small town medical college student.

So why does the soft-hearted hero of "Rehna Hai Tere Dil Me" accept such roles? Reportedly, the audiences in Tamil Nadu now want to see him as an action man. So for now, no relief from the gain-and-lose weight game.
