Good friends are always accommodating. And Rani Mukherjee certainly is a `good friend` to Ash. She is said to have helped Ash get out of a tight spot.

Ace South Indian director was keen on taking Ash for his ambitious film titled Chandralekha. But the lady had insisted on being paired with beau Salman Khan. A reluctant Priyan agreed on the condition that she would dole out bulk dates. Then the two parted ways and the film almost fell through. That`s when Rani stepped in and offered to bail out Ash by agreeing to do the film instead. "I think their (Salman and Ash`s) working together will only add to the rift," she told the director.

Whoever says that that actresses only bitch ought to see the two sahelis share their joys. Kudos to this friendship then!
