Karisma Kapoor is making her first appearance in a south Indian film in a strange role. Instead of playing the leading role, Karisma is making a special song appearance in the South-Indian film "Kotiswaran", being produced by K.T.Kunjumon.

The song shows Lolo as an alien who descends from a spaceship to entice the film's hero Ebbie. She is portrayed as a futuristic siren clad in a sophisticated suit. Her ‘alien' suit alone is believed to have cost the film's producer Kunjumon (who is known for his extravagant and lavish productions) a couple of lakhs. Furthermore Karisma's spaceship and its docking platform was erected at Ramoji Studios (Hyderabad) at a whopping expense.

It seems Karisma's maiden sojourn down south is proving to be heavy on some peoples' pockets.
