This isn`t funny, but it is bound to raise a few chuckles. We all know what credentials Sanjay Kapoor has as an actor. For him, that isn`t a cause of worry really with big-time producer Boney and top rung actor Anil for brothers?

It`s this flop actor`s chutzpah that makes one startle. Through with brother Boney`s home production, Shakti, in which he plays an important character along with the redoubtable Karisma and the scene-stealer Nana Patekar, Sanjay pits himself against another formidable star - Shahrukh Khan in a `special guest appearance` in the film.

And as the film is readied for an early August release, Kapoor`s agenda is to sit at the editing table, redub his lines and call on scribes to give them an update on "my superlative performance." In his bid to cash in on the pre-release hype, he has even sought to sideline Shahrukh. Little does he know that even in a brief cameo the Khan will walk away with all the credit.
