Call it a quirk of fate, or one of Ram Gopal Varma's infamous whims. But after casting Jiah Khan in what's possibly the most startling debutante's vehicle since Dimple Kapadia in Bobby and Kareena Kapoor in Refugee, maverick new-maker and movie maker Ram Gopal Varma has decided to not work with his prized discovery Jiah Khan any more.
"Far from hunting for a house for her, I've no intentions of working with Jiah again," Ramu said curtly.
"She was cast in Nishabd because she was perfect for the character. Beyond that I've no interest in her. I haven't been in touch with Jiah since the film's release. I've no plans to work with her. I've no intention of casting her in any of the films I'm going to make in the future."
Jiah who's in London at the moment is equally baffled. "This is the weirdest story I've heard about myself. I'm currently in the process signing couple of news films."
Needless to say, none of them is with Ramu.
