Talented actress Shabana Azmi is playing a witch in music composer Vishal Bhardwaj's directorial debut Makdi.

The film, basically a children's horror film, is the story of an old witch (Shabana) who uses witchcraft to turn children into animals. She lives in a haunted house, and anyone who enters her house becomes her victim. One day two twin sisters enter her house. That's where the story takes a turn.

The most striking thing about Makdi is Shabana's looks of a hundred-year-old witch in the film. Make-up artist Arun Seal has specially created very pale and scary looks for Shabana's character. She will be seen in an unkempt wig and special eye lenses.
