Recently there were media reports that Sanjay Dutt has been replaced by Vishwajeet Pradhan in Sanjay Gupta's 'Alibaug', which is baseless and untrue.

It has been falsely reported that Sanjay Gupta summoned Viswajeet Pradhan to do Sanjay Dutt's role in 'Alibaug', when Sanjay Dutt was arrested the last time.

Viswajeet Pradhan has also been falsely quoted as saying that when Mr. Dutt was arrested, he had got a call from 'White Feather Films' informing him that some changes were being made in the script to complete shooting the climax in the film.

In fact, Hansal Mehta CEO 'White Feather Film' had clarified in the report that they were waiting for Sanjay Dutt's dates. But according to sources close to Sanjay Gupta, he finds the story most ridiculous and a figment of someone's imagination. According to Sanjay Gupta, Sanjay Dutt can never be replaced.

Sources also add that there seems to be a lobby against Sanjay Gupta with a personal agenda to settle.

Meanwhile Sanjay Gupta is touring across the country promoting 'Dus Kahaniyan'. He is quite pleased on the appreciative feedback on the film.

In fact he has been complimented for his banner doing cinema they strongly believe in rather then taking the easy route of doing formula- oriented films. In fact everyone is of the opinion that 'Dus Kahaniyan' will set a benchmark for future films in India.

Sanjay Gupta will also be showcasing 'Dus Kahaniyan' at the Kerala film festival now.
