Going by how much time he has spent putting every brick into place in his new home, it isn't surprising that his friends call the new Dattani resident Sammir's own Taj Mahal.

"I have to give a hundred percent of myself to anything I do. I couldn' t leave anything in my new home to the designers alone. So yes, most of what you see there has been done by me.

I even went with my mom to buy all the curtains, sofa and cushion covers. Never mind my friends found that a very girlie thing to do."

One has to admit Sammir new home is one of the best in Bollywood. "Yeah, provided I can be considered Bollywood. I'm a very much an outsider.

If you have the fabulous Mumtaz for an aunt, you are automatically an insider," guffaws Sammir taking a dig at Shaad's filmy pedigree.
