Talks are abuzz that Amisha Patel is using her leverage in Bollywood to ensure her younger brother Ashmit's entry into films. Firstly, it was on her recommendation that director Vikram Bhatt took Ashmit under his wings as an assistant.

No sooner than Ashmit had grasped the nitty-gritty of filmmaking Amisha began prodding Vikram to launch him as an actor in a film.And now it is confirmed that Ashmit will make his Bollywood debut as an actor in Bhatt's "Inteha", to be launched early next year. Bhatt dubs Ashmit as an ‘intelligent and handsome guy' who needs to be cast in the ‘roles that suit him'.

Ironically, Ashmit was opposed to Amisha's entry into films two years back. But today he is raring to follow her footsteps. And Amisha seems to be sparing no effort to help him make his way into Bollywood.
