At a recently held television awards ceremony, the crew of Zee's 'Banoo Main Teri Dulhan' kept juggling between their seats and the stage.

The show received awards in almost every category related to programming. And the team of this extremely popular show looked like cats who got the cream.

The lead pair of 'Dulhan' echo each other's sentiment when they state that they believe that the real hero of the serial is the story.

"When I first heard the narration, I was really touched with the story," says Sharad Malhotra, who essays the role of a mentally disturbed young man.

Divyanka Tripathi, who plays his wife, adds, "The story moves continuously, instead of getting stuck in one place, and the cast is very good."

Neelima Vajpayee, the creative head of the show, credits team work for its success, adding, "The credit goes to Sharad and Divyanka. They have really got into their characters."
