Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya arrived here on Friday to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple and the Durgiana temple.

Sources said the family are here to offer prayers at the shrines after the demise of the actor's mother Teji Bachchan.

They said the family will visit the shrines at 4 am on Saturday.

Heavy security cover for the Bachchans kept the media at a distance.
